Pankaj Tripathi or we better known him as 'Sultan' and 'Kaleen Bhaiya'. He is one actor which can be easily be defined as 'the artist' that can play dynamic roles with sheer greatness in all of it. Pankaj was born on 5th September 1976, in a village in Gopalganj District Bihar. He has completed his high schooling in Gopalganj and then moved to Patna to study at the Institute of Hotel Management Hajipur. In college, he started doing theatres and was active in the politics being a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He then moved to Delhi to pursue his passion in to acting and drama, he had joined the National school of Drama and graduated from there in the year 2004.

Pankaj went to Mumbai to start his acting career in the movies, and it started with a short role in the movie 'RUN' which was released in the year 2004 and was a Action/Comedy film. Pankaj is well known for his acting in different genres and for the perfection in it. He has performed tremendously in his film and television career, in a industry full of nepotism and having the advantage of being born with a silver spoon, Pankaj has proved that hard work and passion can make you go to the heights you would never imagine. 
Tripathi has worked in almost 40 movies and 60 Tv shows and continues to woe the audiences with his tremendous talent. There is a separate fan base that supports him and appreciates him as a human first.

His work includes master pieces like Masaan, Gangs of Wasseypur, Mirzapur, Nil Battey Sannata, Luka Chuppi, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Stree. All of these vouch for the versatility Pankaj Tripathi hols as an artist. 

Pankaj is married to Mridula Tripathi in the year 2004 and is blessed with a daughter. He is known for his modest and humble personality.
