MS Dhoni sequel is impossible without Sushant Singh Rajput: Arun Pandey
The entire nation is shocked by the untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Bandra. Sushant was highly praised by Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the biopic 'MS Dhoni - The Untold Story'. He also wanted to work for the sequel to this super hit film, but his death has demolished all plans. Arun Pandey, a close friend of Dhoni and co-producer of the film, says that the sequel of this film is not possible without Sushant.
Sushant Singh Rajput worked hard for months to bring Mahendra Singh Dhoni's character to life on the golden screen. The film made in 2016 proved to be a blockbuster. The film depicts the journey and struggle of Dhoni from Ranchi till the World Cup victory. Sushant worked hard for this. Sushant learned the tricks of batting, wicketkeeping, and helicopter shots from former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More for this film.
Sushant also worked hard to learn Dhoni's mannerisms. He used to ask Mahi a lot of questions, only small things make a difference. Both of them were from Bihar, so it helped to create a rapport between them. Arun Pandey said," I, Mahi, and Sushant went to Dhoni's Air India Colony house in Delhi. Mahi recalled where he used to sit, eat and Sushant used to do this to feel the character. There was also a place in the house where Mahi used to lie on the ground, Sushant did the same."
Arun Pandey told ABP News, "We cannot even think of a sequel to this film without Sushant. We were thinking about the sequel of this film, but it is no longer meaningful."
He said, "I never thought he would do something like that, he was so vivacious. We attended gym sessions together before the lockdown and we were in regular contact. I can't believe the news of his departure."
