India-China tensions: Modi in Leh to meet the injured soldiers & Indian forces

 

The visit comes days after the Galwan Valley clash in which 20 Indian Army personnel were killed.

 

 

Amid the tensions on the borders, China-India Prime Minister Modi decided to check the ground reality hence visited Leh on Friday 3 July, accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat and Army Chief MM Naravane. 


Modi visited the location Nimu and interacted with the Army officials and personnel from the Air Force and also the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. 


Reports revealed that PM met the soldiers in Nimu who were injured in the clashes on 15 June.
