No prescription required for coronavirus examination, Delhi government orders
No prescription will be required for the covid19 examination in the capital Delhi. Delhi government has issued an order in this regard on Wednesday.
As per the order, it has been decided by the Delhi government to enhance and facilitate the coronavirus test, after this, the doctor's advice will not be required for the covid19 test in Delhi. However, the investigation will be done as per the strategy issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research and the order given by the Delhi government from time to time.
Concerned over the rise in new cases of Coronavirus, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered that a doctor's form for those who volunteered for RT / PCR test to detect covid19 infection in the capital. It will not be mandatory to show.
The High Court said that people will have to bring an Aadhar card for proof of address in Delhi and fill a form. It is mandatory for the investigation of covid19 by ICMR.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's office said in a statement that we are encouraging more and more people to investigate, if they think they have corona, they should get it investigated so that we can effectively spread the virus in the capital, to control.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday held a review meeting on the condition of Corona in the capital and ordered the authorities to take all possible steps to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Several senior officials including Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Dev were present in the review meeting.
The Chief Minister said in a tweet, "I had a review meeting with the Health Minister, Chief Secretary, senior officials, and medical superintendents of government hospitals. I have instructed all the MSs and authorities to take all possible steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus and have assured full support to the hospitals in this regard."
On the increasing cases again in Delhi, Kejriwal said on Tuesday that his government has increased the test by leaps and bounds. He also told Health Minister Satyendar Jain that a doctor's form should not be sought for the corona test so that anyone can get his test done.
On Tuesday, 3,609 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Delhi, after which the total number of people infected with the Coronavirus reached 1,97,135.
