The Rajasthan government has decided to seal its border for 7 days in view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus in the state. After meeting with the Chief Minister officials on Wednesday, it has been decided to seal the border adjacent to Delhi and Punjab. Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh share the border with Rajasthan and it has been decided to seal the border with all these states.
According to information received by India TV, the border has been sealed in several places after the government's order, the border has been sealed in Sriganganagar, adjoining Punjab and the local administration has sealed the border in Bhiwadi adjoining Delhi and Haryana. In Rajasthan, now free entry has been completely stopped, going through the border will be allowed only through the pass.
The pace of Coronavirus infection has stopped in Rajasthan, but cases have started increasing rapidly for the last few days and keeping this in mind, the state government has decided to seal the border once again. According to the Union Health Ministry, 11245 Coronavirus cases have been registered in Rajasthan till Wednesday morning, out of which 8238 people have been cured and now 2662 active cases are left.
