ICMR finds new treatment for corona treatment, medicine made from animal blood serum

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), in collaboration with a Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company, has found a new prescription for the treatment of fatal corona infection. ICMR has claimed that it has developed a highly purified 'antisera' using animal blood serum to treat corona, which is quite effective in reducing corona malignancy. Antisera are blood serum derived from animals, which contain antibodies against specific antigens. They are used in the treatment of certain diseases.

This is a new therapy for the treatment of corona after plasma therapy in India. It is being claimed that it is not only effective in preventing the horrors of the disease in corona patients, but it is also able to treat it. ICMR reported that such measures have been used to control many viral bacterial infections even before.

Corona virus infection may be decreasing in the country but the risk is increasing. So far, nearly one lakh people have lost their lives due to the virus, 34% of these deaths occurred only in the month of September. About 1,100 people die every day. Not only this, a research by scientists from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh has found that children are spreading the most infection. This is the most worrying thing.

According to data released by the Ministry of Health, a severe form of corona was seen in September. So far 98,678 people lost their lives due to the virus. Of these, 33,255 people died in September only. More than 50 per cent of the people died in only three states, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The infection also increased rapidly in September. In August, 19.87 lakh people were infected by the virus, while 26.24 lakh people got infected in September. However, it has seen a decline for the past one week.

Earlier, where more than 95 thousand cases were reported every day, now they have come down from 85 thousand on average. Even today 86,821 new cases were reported and 1181 people died. So far 63,12,585 people have come under the infection. However, it is a matter of relief that 52.73 lakh people have defeated the virus. The recovery rate in the country is 83.53 percent, while the death rate is 1.56 percent. The Ministry of Health said that in over 70 percent of the deaths were due to other diseases.
