'It's my life' Will be a TV release instead of a Big Screen
Based on the father-son relationship, 'It's My Life' will not be released in theaters but on television. The film stars Nana Patekar, Harman Baweja, and Genelia D'Souza. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is a remake of the 2006 Telugu hit 'Bommarillu' and is expected to release on the small screen on 29 November.
Bazmee said, "Whenever I watch a script, I place myself in the audience's feet to see if it is entertaining or not. Laughter, drama, romance, and a great star cast is backing this movie. From this perspective, I claim that 'It's My Life' is a perfect entertainment package. I am sure its TV release will make everyone's mood. Especially for such a time, it's perfect."
Boney Kapoor, who is making the film with his brother Sanjay Kapoor, said, "Through the movie, we have exposed the family equations and complexities without any adulteration. It has become one that most of all, including me. Television has always been a great way to reach a wider group of viewers and we are delighted that for the first time"
Sanjay Kapoor said, "When I envisioned making a Hindi remake of the popular Telugu film 'Bommarillu', I believed that the movie would be liked by those who like typical Bollywood movies."
In the film, Nana Patekar plays the father, played by Prakash Raj in Telugu. Harman Baweja has played the role of the son played by Siddharth in the original film. Music is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
The film will premiere at Zee Cinema, its trailer was released on Thursday.
