"Sushant cried a lot when the film was closed, used to call late at night". Shekhar Kapoor

Bollywood's young and talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput has said goodbye to this world and left behind the legacy of some interesting films. Although he was very excited about a "movie" in his short career, 'this' film could never be made. In Instagram Live with Manoj Vajpayee, Director Shekhar Kapoor mentioned that he was going to work in the film Pani with Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant was supposed to play the role of Gora in this film. He had also made preparations for this movie for a few months.

Shekhar Kapoor stated that he was very excited about the ideas behind it. There was a strange restlessness in it. He used to be in a production design meeting with me, then in the VFX meeting, also in the workshop. There was a tremendous urge to learn in him, the amount of eagerness about things that you get to see in children.

He further said that he used to call me regarding his role even at 3 am, I was quite happy that I have found an actor for this film who is very passionate about his role. However, when the producers pulled out of the film, he was disappointed, cried and I became very emotional with him.

Talking about Sushant's family, Shekhar said that they are definitely going through a very deep shock. I will always remember Sushant in the category of actors like Heath Ledger and James Dean, who were very young and extremely talented and who managed to leave their mark in their craft. Sushant will always be a high-class artist for me and I want to tell his family that if you have lost your son, I have also lost my brother. I hope that God will give peace to Sushant's soul.
